All payments on SpacePal are processed securely through our platform using Stripe (for most countries) and MercadoPago (for Argentina).
Booking & Payment Process
Send a Booking Request – To book a space, you need to submit a booking request through SpacePal.
Authorization Hold – When you send the request, an authorization hold is placed on your card to ensure funds are available.
Host Confirmation – The host has up to 2 business days to accept or decline the request.
Payment Processing – If the host accepts, the full amount is charged, and your booking is confirmed.
Automatic Release – If the request is declined or expires, the authorization hold is automatically released. Depending on your bank, it may take a few days for the funds to reflect in your account.
Once your booking is confirmed, the SpacePal Cancellation and Refund Policy applies.
💡 Important: In Argentina, all payments are processed through MercadoPago.
