If you sent a booking request and it hasn’t been accepted by the host yet, you can cancel it for free—or just let it expire on its own (depending on your country).

Where did you make the request?

🇦🇷 Argentina

  • You don’t need to do anything.

  • If the host doesn’t accept the request, it automatically expires after 48 hours.

  • No charges or payment authorizations are made to your payment method.

  • If the host accepts but you don’t complete the payment, the booking will also expire automatically after 48 hours.

🌎 Rest of the world

  • When you send the request, a temporary payment authorization is placed.

  • If the host doesn’t accept it within 48 hours, the request expires automatically, and the authorization is released.

  • If you prefer to cancel it earlier, you can do so manually at any time.

How to withdraw a booking request

  1. Log in to your SpacePal account.

  2. Go to the Messages section.

  3. Select the booking request you want to cancel.

  4. Click “Cancel request”, choose a reason, and confirm.

What happens after you cancel the request?

  • The request becomes inactive, and the space is no longer held for you.

  • Any temporary hold on your card (including processing fees) will be fully released.

  • Depending on your bank, it may take a few days to reflect on your statement.

If you still need a space, you can always send a new booking request or reach out to other hosts to check availability.
