We know plans can change, so here’s what you need to know about cancellations on SpacePal:
🕐 If your booking hasn’t been approved yet
No action needed. If the host doesn’t approve it, the request will automatically expire after 24 hours.
💳 If your booking was approved but not paid yet
Again, no action needed. If you don’t complete the payment within 24 hours, the booking will expire automatically.
✅ If your booking has already been confirmed and paid
Canceling within the first 24 hours
You have 24 hours after payment to request a full refund, as long as the booking start date is at least 5 days away.
📱 Message us on WhatsApp if you want to cancel a confirmed booking.
If more than 24 hours have passed since payment and the booking starts in more than 5 days
Refunds depend on the host’s cancellation policy. You can contact the host directly to check it.
If there are less than 5 days before your booking
The booking is non-refundable unless in special cases. Contact the host directly for more info.
🧼 What about the cleaning fee?
If you didn’t use the space, the cleaning fee is always refunded — no matter the host’s policy.
✏️ Need to change something?
Use the “Modify Booking” button in your ‘Messages’ or ‘Bookings’ section to adjust the date, time, or details.
