When you submit a booking request, an authorization hold will be placed on your credit card for the full amount of the booking, including processing fees. This ensures that the funds are available in your account.
How It Works
The authorization hold may appear as a pending or processing charge on your bank statement.
Your card will only be charged in full once the host accepts your booking request.
If the request is declined or expires, the hold is automatically released, and no charge is made.
Before You Book
To avoid unnecessary cancellations, we recommend that you only submit a booking request when you’re sure you want to proceed.
Not ready to book yet? Use the “Message Host” button to ask questions and confirm availability before submitting a request. We also recommend reaching out to 3-5 hosts to increase your chances of securing the perfect space.
