Being a Top Host isn’t just a badge — it’s your ticket to more visibility, more trust, and way more bookings.
You don’t need to apply, fill out a form, or message us on WhatsApp. The system automatically gives you Top Host status when you meet certain quality benchmarks.
If you maintain strong performance, you’ll be added to the group of top-performing hosts on the platform. Want to know how to get there? We’ll walk you through it.
✅ Reminder: to become — and stay — a Top Host, you must keep all conversations and payments within SpacePal.
What are the requirements?
We evaluate them automatically every 30 days. If you meet all of them, your profile gets the Top Host badge. Here are the key points:
1. Response rate ≥ 90%
You need to respond to at least 9 out of every 10 inquiries within 24 hours.
The faster you reply, the closer you get to Top Host.
2. Average review score ≥ 4.5 stars
After every booking, guests rate their experience.
To reach Top Host status, your average needs to stay high — most of your reviews should be 5 stars.
💡 Tip: After checkout, send the guest a short thank-you message and ask them to leave a review. Example: “Thanks for booking! If you enjoyed the experience, leaving a quick review would help us a lot 😊”
3. At least 5 confirmed bookings
Having a nice space isn’t enough — you need to book it.
Once you’ve completed 5 or more bookings, you’re in the running.
4. Zero unjustified cancellations
Canceling a booking affects the guest’s experience.
If you need to cancel for an exceptional reason, reach out to us and we’ll review the case. But in general: if you accept a booking, honor it.
