Setting a base price for your space is key to getting more bookings. Users want to have a rough idea of the cost before reaching out! 💰
But we know that sometimes bookings come with special requirements that don’t fit your standard rates. In those cases, no worries. You can chat with the guest and agree on a custom price. Once you’re aligned, just send them a proposal directly from the chat or modify the booking by clicking “Details”. The guest has 48 hours to accept and pay.
How to send a proposal?
Go to Messages and open the conversation related to the inquiry
Click on “Send proposal”
Enter the price you want to offer. You can also suggest different dates or times
Click “Send proposal”
The guest will get a notification with all the details.
If they accept it, the booking and payment are confirmed.
If they decline or the proposal expires, you can send a new custom offer.
Some key tips:
✔️ The price should reflect the final amount of the booking. Remember, we add a 12% guest fee on top of what you set
✔️ Include any additional charges, like extra services
