SpacePal charges a 12% service fee to help cover the costs of running our platform, including:
Processing transactions securely.
Providing customer support for your booking.
Maintaining platform services and applicable taxes.
The service fee is a percentage of the booking subtotal (including cleaning fees, if applicable) and is added to all transactions.
Where Can I See the Processing Fee?
When selecting your dates and times on a listing, the fee is automatically included in the total price.
What Happens to the Fee If I Cancel or Modify My Booking?
If your booking request is withdrawn, expires, or is declined, no charges (including the service fee) will be made.
If you cancel within the 24-hour grace period, and outside the short-notice timeframe, the service fee will be refunded along with the full booking amount.
If you cancel outside the 24-hour grace period, the service fee is non-refundable.
If a host cancels your booking and you cannot rebook with them, the service fee will be refunded.
If you modify your reservation, the service fee will adjust based on the new subtotal.
